Our Kalgarth Grange Early Learners have been very busy this week in the garden, where the children have enjoyed making an ice cream parlour.
The staff used natural resources to replicate the ice cream and have allowed children to expand their imaginative play, seeing what resources the children could add to the area themselves to make different ice creams. The fun continued indoors, where the children used natural resources to create a messy bug house! They loved talking about the different insects they could see and describing how the mud felt, which helps develop language skills. What a lovely time we have had in the Early Learner room!
