The Reception children at The Abbey became very curious when they spotted the planting that Early Learner children had done. In response, the Reception room gathered the resources needed and completed their own planting activity.
Some of the children said, 'I do planting with my Mummy at home'; 'This one is so colourful'; 'You need water, soil and the sun to grow plants'.
What a lovely activity to find out what the children know and enhance their knowledge of the world around them!
